Do you want to learn more about the colorful world of management consulting and our LGBTQ+ network Pride@BCG?

We are hosting an event PRIDE in PRIDE on March 23rd in Hotel Lilla Roberts (Pieni Roobertinkatu 1, 00130) starting at 9:00. During the event you will get an introduction to BCG (Boston Consulting Group) Helsinki, our DE&I (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) agenda, and Pride network, Pride@BCG. At the event, you have the possibility to meet Pride@BCG members, ask questions in a panel discussion, and hear more about the diverse career paths in BCG while enjoying a delicious breakfast.

During the event you will have the chance to meet other students and have casual chats with BCGers with diverse backgrounds who are happy to answer all your questions.

The event is open to all who are part of the LGTBQ+ community or simply want to learn more about the Pride@BCG network and LGTBQ+ community at BCG.

Interested in management consulting and eager to learn of the daily lives of a consultant? We are happy to invite you to spend a casual evening with some of our consultants from BCG Helsinki Office! Boston Consulting Group is a global consulting firm that partners with leaders to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities.

During this fun get-together, our consultants will share insights on consulting as a career path and on their daily work. Our own Olivia Leskinen (principal) will shine light on what happens behind the curtains of our global initiative Women@BCG. Besides networking and getting to know each other, you’ll get to make your own cocktails and hear some tricks for preparing the most delicious drinks.

The event is targeted towards university students who identify as women from all fields of study, preferably in their 2nd year of studies and up. Seats for this event are limited. We organize this event exclusively for women, as we see it is crucial to continue making consulting more visible to women.

We will have some nice prizes for the best costumes of the night, karaoke, and some other inventive activities to keep you having a good time, all night long.

🍻 Novemberfest is back 🇩🇪

How does great beer, food and company sound like? How about getting to know ISM’s partner companies and playing fun games?

This year Novemberfest is held in Restaurant Zinnkeller where a delicious German style dinner will be served. The evening is filled with mingling with other Aalto BT people, speeches from our corporate partners, entertaining games and of course cherishing your taste buds. This legendary event is one you don’t want to miss.

Those who sign up will be sent a confirmation of participation before the event. The number of spots is limited to 60 and last year there was 120 sign-ups. Signing up does not automatically guarantee a spot in the event, though those in the queue will be informed they are in the queue.

Please note that the sign up is binding and if you do not cancel, you will be asked to pay. If you need to cancel your participation, please do it 24 hours before the beginning of the event by sending an email to Board@aaltobt.fi. If you have any questions, or wish to give your position to someone in the queue, you may email us, or contact (removed) on Telegram.

Celebration Of Diversity Event with BCG

Join our “Celebration of Diversity” event and panel discussion for university students at Epicenter on June 2 from 18.00-21.00!

At Boston Consulting Group (BCG), we celebrate passionate, open-minded people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, ethnicities, abilities, experiences, and beyond – simply because we love Diversity and believe in its power!

In addition to BCG, you will hear and meet organization representatives from Aalto University, Inklusiiv, and KONE. During the evening, we will host an authentic panel discussion around DE&I topics from different perspectives and share insights on what that work incorporates and where organizations currently are standing on their DE&I journey.

Moreover, the discussion will cover what needs to be done to advance the progress of diverse teams, equitable opportunities, and inclusive cultures even further and why it is such a priority for Finnish organizations. 

We know Diversity boosts performance, and we actively address DE&I internally, with our clients, and as part of society. Together we challenge established approaches and unlock solutions that enable organizations to thrive.

After the presentations and panel discussion, you’ll have a chance to network and chat with fellow students and organization representatives over food and drinks.

We hope this event serves as a platform for fruitful conversations, colorful connections, and a fantastic opportunity to kick off Pride Month June!

Coffee, Consulting & Culture with August Associates

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is a global consulting firm that partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities.

You’ll hear inspirational career stories from our consultants with similar educational backgrounds as yours during the event. Our consultants will share a few different journeys at BCG, and you’ll have a chance to ask questions about their experiences. We will continue the evening with a casual dinner, where you get to chat with BCG Aalto Biz alumni.

Put down your books, take that pencil from behind your ear and join us for After Exams to catch up with your friends, relax, mix and mingle! We will provide you with some refreshments and snacks to get you ready for the weekend!

The event does not have a sign up as it is first come first serve, however, depending on MMKs capacity limits and the Corona limits on the day will determine how many participants are able to join.
